DHRS Launches Online Practitioner Renewal Portal
The Department of Health Regulatory Services (DHRS) is excited to announce the launch of a new online portal that allows registered practitioners to complete their biennial renewals quickly and easily, entirely online.

The Department of Health Regulatory Services (DHRS) is pleased to announce plans on moving towards full online services for its health insurance stakeholders.
What We Do
The Department of Health Regulatory Services monitors and regulates the health insurance and healthcare industry in the Cayman Islands. The Department also provides assistance to the public in resolving disputes regarding the provision of health insurance and health care services.

Appraisal of Clinical Trial Applications in the Cayman Islands
1. Currently, clinical practitioners in the Cayman Islands may undertake research only with the explicit permission of the Health Practice Commission (HPC).
2. The granting of such permission is not trivial given that, by definition, the effectiveness and safety of a medicine or procedure that isthe subject ofsuch a trial does not have wellestablished safety and, or, outcome data (otherwise a trial would be unnecessary).
