GOV.KY Launch Update

5 December 2025 | Press Release | By: CIG Communications

GOV.KY and 43 microsites are now live on the new system. For more information on what’s changing, what the public can expect, and answers to frequently asked questions, please visit gov.ky/whatsnew

As with any major platform transition, some temporary issues, may occur as the new system, settles in:

  • Some links may not work or may take you to a different page. This is expected while redirects are being finalised. A few pages have been moved to new locations, and link paths have changed as part of the new website structure.

  • Google search results may still display older pages or outdated links for a short period. This will resolve automatically as Google re-indexes the new sites.

We understand that these issues may be frustrating, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience they may cause. Rest assured, we are actively addressing these problems and working quickly to ensure everything is running smoothly.

The fastest way to find information right now is to use the search tool at the top of every page on GOV.KY. You can also find links to ministry and departmental pages on gov.ky/directory

All archived content remains accessible, and you can find the archive index on GOV.KY.

If you encounter any issues, such as missing pages or broken links, please report them using the Feedback Form so we can resolve them as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience during this transition and thank you for your understanding as we continue working to improve the online experience for our community.
